Turning problems into opportunities
What this company offers to me? Skills to talk with the local people. Because we can't learn some skills like this in the classroom, we kind of learn those theories in our class in our school, but not something like this.
I think the bright global futures is one of the unique platforms that I've seen, that can really help students... the hands-on experiential learning is very important! We work in a very globalized world. So make those connections, so you can be global too.
Bright Global Futures introduced me to a highly talented and globally-minded recent graduate. We are grateful for this new hire and incredible addition to the One Life Financial Group family. Within one month, this new team member was already helping us solve complex problems with skills they had developed while working with BGF.
Because I'm not a very confident person, and I know many Chinese girls are like me... Bright Global Futures is helping me to improve my confidence through talking with Americans and doing activities with them. It's really helpful.
I appreciate joining this adventure with experiential learning because it offers me the chance to make more friends. Not only that, It helps me to get out of my comfort zone and hone myself to become better. This is the unique experience that I never had before. Also, the mentors are very friendly and passionate to support me whenever I have any question.
My vision for my future is to be an entrepreneur. I think I have an entrepreneurial spirit. I want to be a good global citizen. I like to travel, learn from other people. That's the kind of lession I believe in.
An amazing thing happens when you connect people through experiential learning adventure and get them out of their comfort-zones. They begin to take an interest in one-another… and even to solve problems together.
